The subsequent table details key information about the facilities available in the arrival and departure zones of Terminal B at Orlando International Airport. Please take the time to read it.
Traveling within the USA has been made easier by United Airlines from Orlando International Airport. The passenger air carrier utilizes security checkpoints 1-59 for the screening procedure and has a TSA Precheck facility. For this, individuals must arrive at least 2 hours before the journey. Always make it a point to visit the air station only after learning the security wait time, which you can know from the airport’s official website. To enroll in TSA Precheck, head to level 2 of the station that has an enrollment centre open for all travelers from Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
After completing the trip, travelers will arrive at Terminal B to retrieve their luggage. United Airlines uses baggage carousel numbers 20-32, found in level 2 of the platform. To know your carousel belt number, check the information screens at the arrival section of the station. Passengers need not worry about their bags as the airline takes complete care of their belongings. If you cannot locate your luggage or have received damaged one, visit the lost and found desk. The airline officials at the counter will help you with the investigation, ensuring you get your bags before leaving the area. If your items are not found, you will be given updates regularly.
There are numerous check-in options for passengers at the terminal. Feel comfortable completing the pre-flight procedure using the airport counters and self-service kiosk machines, which you can easily find at level 3 of the station. The airline’s officials will be present to guide you in case of any trouble. As the air carrier travels only to domestic places from Orlando International Airport, it is advised to check in 30 minutes before departure if you are not carrying checked baggage. Otherwise, you have to be at the counters 45 minutes before departure.
For flights within the country, the airline recommends that travelers arrive at the boarding gate 15 minutes before the trip. For smooth boarding, the airline divided the passengers into different groups. Make sure to check your gate with your boarding pass. The airlines use gates 30-59 for the pre-flight procedure. Furthermore, feel free to store your baggage at level one of the terminal. This is where you will also find numerous ground transportation options to travel back and forth from the airport.
Located in Terminal B near gate 43, the United Club at MCO airport offers a luxurious lounge experience. Travelers can enjoy various amenities, including snacks, beverages like wine and beer, flight monitors, WiFi, working areas, magazines, and television. The waiting area is open for everyone from 05:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. daily. At Orlando International Airport, passengers can quickly go from one terminal to another. The airport includes a North Terminal Complex, which is split into Terminal A and Terminal B, both of which are part of the same facility and allow for convenient passenger movement between them. Additionally, Terminal C is situated separately but can be reached through shuttle services or other transportation alternatives.
The automated people mover system is designed to carry passengers between Terminals A and B and to the departure concourses within the secure area. Two lines are located on the east side of the terminal building, shuttling passengers to concourses 1 and 3. Two lines are also featured on the main terminal’s west side, providing access to concourses 2 and 4.
In addition, the Terminal Link, designated as the fifth line, connects the eastern part of Terminal B with the MCO train station. Passengers can move through the parking garage to get to Terminal C in about 10 minutes. The Terminal Link is available for use at all hours.
Passengers can conveniently travel between terminals B and C using the free shuttle bus service, which is available 24/7. These buses are located in two areas-
– Terminal C: Level 1, Space C272
– Terminal B: Level 1, Space B16
To access all departure concourses in terminals A and B, passengers must use the people movers, as there are no walking paths connecting these terminals. You may only consider walking if your connecting flight is situated in the same concourse or in an adjacent concourse on the same side of the airport.
Each security checkpoint allows access to two concourses. For example, if you need to connect from Concourse 3 to Concourse 1, you can exit the people mover at Concourse 3 and head directly to Concourse 1. This does not apply to passengers who need to collect checked baggage between flights.
